No wonder our backs complain so much after sitting for so long—we're not evolved to stay in the same posture all day!

I've been in the business of making it fun to move for years now. The number one sitting-related affliction I hear from people is fatigue. It's exhausting to sit all day (plus, it's killing us). What an enigma! You'd think that sitting, such an energy-conserving activity, wouldn't drain our energy (and our good mood!). But it does. It's like sleeping too much and not having a physical morning routine. You wake up feeling like you haven't used your faculties in ages.
